Skates 2 Scholars is saddened to announce the passing of Matthew David Gooch. Matthew was born on April 11, 1968 and passed away on July 11, 2018. He was an amazing athlete and is favorite sport was hockey, which he took up playing later in life. He especially loved watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and never missed a game. His family would like to celebrate his passion for  hockey, and has asked to see this love passed on to future generations. Its has been requested that in lieu of flowers monetary donations be made to Skates2Scholars in Matthews name. We extended our deepest sympathies to his family and friends, and will honor his memory doing the absolute best we can do for our cause.
